Professional Installation Information

The swing sets that we carry are designed for homeowner installation. Most parts are pre-cut, sanded, stained, and pre-drilled. The necessary hardware and instructions are also included. With basic tools, most of our swing sets can be installed by 2 adults in 6-12 hours (depending on size and complexity). For this reason you may choose to install your new swing set yourself.

We understand that you may also want to have your swing set professionally installed. We have put together the following information as a resource to help you through the process.

Installation Companies

The companies below offer installation services with national coverage. They can typically provide a quote for their services if you provide them with the model that you're interested in and the zip code it will be installed in.

Installers on our website are not employed by The Backyard Guys and are not contractors or subcontractors of The Backyard Guys. Additionally, The Backyard Guys has not necessarily reviewed, screened or independently determined the qualifications of any installer on this list. The installer shall be solely responsible for installation services provided to any customer and The Backyard Guys shall have no responsibility for installation services. Customers are encouraged to independently confirm the qualifications of an installer prior to hiring them to assemble any products.

When To Schedule The Installation

We recommend that you schedule the installation with an installer after you have received your swing set. This way you aren't working with estimated delivery times and you can ensure that your swing set will be available to install when the installer arrives. This will also give you the chance to order and receive replacement parts in the event that pieces have arrive damaged or missing (see the heading below).

Some installers may charge additional fees if they aren't able to complete the set and have to return at a later date. By scheduling the installation after you've received and looked over your order, you can avoid that debacle.

Taking Inventory of the Parts

We also recommend that you also inventory the parts of your swing set before you schedule the installer to make sure that every thing is good to go. Some installers (but not all) actually include this step in their service. If they do, they will inventory all the parts and if anything is broken or missing they'll get those parts ordered for you and come another day to complete the installation. That can be a huge time saver which makes it a great question to ask an installer before you book them.
